what we do

At The Rebel With A Cause (TRWAC) CIC, we're not just an organization; we're a movement. Founded in 2020 by Makeda Bernard and Adebomi Olaitan, we're driven to make a real difference in the African and Caribbean communities. Just like the iconic film "Rebel Without a Cause" highlighted the struggles of youth, we confront the challenges facing our communities head-on. But instead of mayhem, we create positive change.

We're passionate about tackling critical issues in the areas of social justice, education, and health. Our flagship project, #ujimakeepthebeat, focuses on raising awareness and educating people about the critical need for blood, organ, and bone marrow donation within the Black and Asian communities. We're also committed to fostering stronger bonds and economic cooperation between the African and Caribbean communities.
